Why some items stay in Japan

Individual sellers and shops often list on domestic Japanese marketplaces, and some accept only Japanese delivery addresses. A proxy service can receive eligible purchases in Japan before you arrange international shipping.

What a proxy service does

Find an item on an open marketplace and place an order. JPFinds handles the purchase and receives it in Japan. Once the item reaches the warehouse, you can choose eligible items for a parcel and review the available international shipping options.

1. Find an item: search an open marketplace or browse a hub and inspect the listing.
2. Place the order: confirm the item and first payment; JPFinds handles the purchase in Japan.
3. Receive and combine: after arrival at the warehouse, select eligible items for a parcel.
4. Ship internationally: choose an available method and confirm the second payment.

Start with a series

A hub groups merchandise for one series or brand and provides common categories. Products shown come from published, purchasable listings on currently open marketplaces; availability can change as listings are added or sold.

Read the condition before buying

A Japanese resale listing may spread important details across the title, photos and description. Check the original listing for condition, included parts, defects and seller notes, especially for bundles and items sold for parts.

• 新品 / 未使用 — listed as new or unused
• 未開封 — listed as unopened
• 美品 — seller describes a good used condition
• 中古 — used item
• 傷あり — scratches or damage noted
• まとめ売り — bundle lot
• ジャンク / 部品取り — junk or for parts
• 訳あり — a stated issue or defect

Understand the total cost

Review the item price, domestic shipping and any applicable service fees before purchase. After items reach the warehouse and a parcel is prepared, review the available international shipping quote. Your destination may also charge local taxes or duties; use the amounts shown at each checkout stage.
